PELid 45

Pelid 45 is the coextruded barrier film, which maximizes the protection of products packaged in MAP thanks to its high degree of strength and robustness. Suitable for the packaging in a protective atmosphere of products such as red meat, white meat, fish, cheese, fresh pasta, ready meals, fruit and vegetables, Pelid 45 is used for top seal welding applications on barrier trays.

It is a film with excellent mechanical performance, which gives it maximum resistance to handling and drilling, with advantages also in terms of stacking, transport, storage and display of packages. Pelid 45 also boasts good performance in terms of optical properties, which allow the consumer to view the fresh product, pushing it to purchase. The film is available with a polyethylene (PE) sealant and its weldability is optimal even in the presence of contaminants in the sealing area.

Perfect thickness

Pelid 45 offers an excellent compromise between thickness (45 microns) and optimal resistance properties, while keeping the environmental impact of production low.

PE sealing

Pelid 45 is available in the PE sealant version, ideal for packaging with the most popular barrier trays on the market. The welding allows a hermetic seal "leak proof" of the package.

The production characteristics of Pelid 45 allow, at the same time, to maximize the performance of the machine and to optimize the film performance. The ideal combination is on the tray-sealing machines produced by Fabbri Group of the CAVECO, Toplid and XPEED families widely present in the packaging centers and in the food industry transformer lines. However, it ensures optimal packaging even on the other popular tray-sealers on the market.
