\nis awarded “Best Packaging 2020 ” for Technological Innovation!<\/h2>\n

Gruppo Fabbri’s strategy, based on the full synergy<\/strong> of specific machines and films<\/strong> for different applications, is thus confirmed once again as a winner. Today it is the “Nature Fresh” project that stands out, receiving the historic Packaging Award, promoted by the Italian Packaging Institute, for the category of “Technology<\/strong>” .<\/p>\n

The “Nature Fresh” project developed by Gruppo Fabbri includes different wrapping machines with high productivity and “hybrid” operation<\/strong>, able to fully exploit the potential of both traditional plastic films and the innovative certified compostable film “Nature Fresh”, officially introduced by Fabbri Group on the market at the beginning of 2020.<\/p>\n

The Jury, which today awarded the recognition to the Group’s CEO, Stefano Mele, during the RE-ECONOMY SUMMIT event at the Il Sole 24 Ore headquarters, motivated his choice as follows: “The performance versatility of the AutomacNF machine is significant, which allows packaging both with traditional stretch films and with\u00a0Nature Fresh\u00a0 – the world’s first certified compostable cling film. The runnability is therefore optimized and allows to package and label different types of supports.”<\/p>\n

Nature Fresh<\/strong>, a film based on BASF Ecovio\u00ae<\/strong> and Ecoflex\u00ae<\/strong> polymers, is the first certified compostable stretch film for automatic packaging on a global scale and is certified as suitable also for domestic compostability. Nature Fresh combines excellent aesthetic qualities (transparency, anti-fogging) with an optimal presentation of the product: it is thus able to guarantee performance equivalent to plasticized PVC films and better water vapor transmission than traditional cling films.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Automac NF<\/strong> packaging machines, in addition to optimizing the machine cycle of the film, allow you to combine Nature Fresh with equally compostable labels and trays; they are also compatible with all the other stretch films proposed by Gruppo Fabbri (plasticized PVC, PE-based film, BIOBASED film) or on the market.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Today more than ever, preserving the environment, preserving food and avoiding waste are part of Gruppo Fabbri’s DNA – comments Stefano Mele CEO of Fabbri Group – These are the factors that 4 years ago led to the creation of the Nature Fresh project, a project that later also received the European Union recognition. In addition to applications in stretch wrapping (just think of the Elixa and Automac brands, just as an example), Gruppo Fabbri also stands out with a specific offer of machines and films for MAP and skin packaging<\/strong>, which has been further expanded thanks to the recent acquisition of CAVECO, leader in the production of heat sealers and automatic lines for dosing and food packaging with a historical position on the domestic and international market.
