This is why <strong><em>The Procurement Awards 2016 \u2013 Beyond saving<\/em><\/strong>, the name itself highlighting how Purchasing goal is to offer a strategic support to companies, was created.\u201d (cit. da www.theprocurement.it).<\/p>\n<p><em>Fabbri Group<\/em> was officially awarded on May 19<sup>th<\/sup>, during Italian <em>Procurement Awards<\/em> ceremony, by a committee of the sector professionals appointed to select and evaluate the most successful cases in four categories:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;\u00a0Ethical and sustainable purchases<br \/>\n&#8211; Negotiation best practice<\/strong><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Purchasing innovation<\/strong><\/strong><strong><br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>Interfunctional purchase team<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gruppofabbri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Andrea_Zuccarino.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1212 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.gruppofabbri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Andrea_Zuccarino.jpg\" alt=\"Andrea_Zuccarino\" width=\"162\" height=\"205\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 162px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 162\/205;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mr.\u00a0<em>Andrea Zuccarino<\/em>, COO at <em>Gruppo Fabbri Vignola S.p.A.<\/em>, welcomes the results achieved by his Purchasing Department: \u201cWe\u2019ve been awarded in the \u201c<strong>Purchasing Innovation<\/strong>\u201d category, preceded only by two among the most important Italian companies in the food industry: <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><em>Lavazza <\/em>and<em> Amadori<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201c<strong>Lean Supply Chain<\/strong>\u201d project, by <em>Gruppo Fabbri, <\/em>was created to account for the need to devise a <strong>new purchasing and management system<\/strong> for machine assembling materials, downstream of production unification.<\/p>\n<p>The new process allowed us to achieve three important goals:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Improve <strong>synchronization<\/strong> and <strong>speed<\/strong> the flow of materials through the whole <em>supply chain<\/em> up, thus <strong>reducing stock<\/strong> and <strong>improving inventory turnover levels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Improve <strong>integration<\/strong> and <strong>general suppliers\u2019 performances<\/strong>, thus consistently <strong>abating claim end\/or misses<\/strong> on pre-assembly and assembly lines<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Design and present a <strong>new<\/strong> materials\u2019 purchasing and managing <strong>system<\/strong> to <strong>streamline<\/strong> the process and <strong>eliminate<\/strong> wastes or activities without added-value.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Procurement Awards 2016: Gruppo Fabbri Vignola S.p.A. awarded in the \u201cPurchase Innovation\u201d category &#8220;Awards&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":17130,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[178],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-17618","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-case-history-en"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
